The Art of Camouflage
What Is Vitiligo Camouflage?
BB Glow (also known as ombre brows or shaded brows) is a semi-permanent makeup technique that uses a PMU machine with a shading needle to deposit pigment in tiny dots, creating a soft, powdered makeup effect. Unlike microblading hair strokes, Vitiligo Camouflage create a shaded, filled-in look similar to eyebrow makeup — from a soft natural gradient to a more defined, bold brow. The result is a beautiful, long-lasting brow that looks like perfectly applied brow powder.
At Brows & Lips, our powder brow artists are trained in the latest machine shading techniques. Every treatment starts with a personalized consultation where we map and design your ideal brow shape based on your facial anatomy, skin type, and desired intensity — from a soft natural flush to a more dramatic defined brow.
Why Choose Camouflage
Key Benefits
Machine-based technique creates the finest, most delicate hair strokes for incredibly natural-looking results.
Perfect for oily, combination, and sensitive skin — nanoblading heals beautifully where microblading may not.
The machine-based technique causes less trauma to the skin, resulting in faster healing and more comfortable experience.
Every brow is individually designed to match your facial structure, skin tone, and desired look — from subtle enhancement to full transformation.
Your Journey
The Process
Your journey begins with a thorough consultation. We analyze your face shape, skin type, and brow goals. Our artist maps out your perfect brow shape.
A topical numbing cream is applied for your comfort. Using a PMU machine with a fine shading needle, our artist builds the powdered effect layer by layer.
Your brows may appear darker initially — this is normal and will soften. The full result reveals after 4-6 weeks. A complimentary touch-up is scheduled.
Transform Your Look
What Look You Can Achieve
Nanoblading can fill in sparse brows, correct asymmetry, and give you the shape you've always wanted. Whether you desire a subtle enhancement or a more defined brow, nanoblading delivers natural-looking results that complement your unique features.

Durability & Care
How Long Does Vitiligo Camouflage Last?
The Vitiligo Camouflage procedure takes approximately 2-2.5 Hrs, including consultation, consultation, and the treatment itself. Our expert team ensures your comfort throughout the entire experience.
Results typically last 1-3 Yrs, depending on your skin type, lifestyle, and aftercare routine. We recommend a touch-up session 4-6 weeks after the initial procedure and annual refreshes thereafter to maintain optimal color and definition.
Maintain Your Results
Aftercare & Maintenance
Prolonged sun exposure can fade the pigment. Use SPF on your brows once healed to protect the color.
Apply the aftercare balm provided by our studio to keep the area moisturized and support optimal healing.
Do not pick or scratch the treated area during healing. Let the pigment settle naturally for best results.
Book your touch-up session 4-6 weeks after the initial procedure to perfect and extend the longevity of your results.
Avoid water, sweat, and steam on the brow area for the first week to allow proper pigment retention and healing.
Avoid applying makeup, creams, or skincare products directly on the brows during the healing period.
Got Questions?
Frequently Asked Questions
Vitiligo camouflage is a medical micropigmentation technique that deposits pigment into depigmented skin patches caused by vitiligo. The goal is to match the surrounding skin tone and restore a uniform complexion. This paramedical procedure uses specialized pigments and equipment to safely and effectively camouflage white patches.
The results are long-lasting but not truly permanent. The pigment sits in the upper dermis and gradually fades over time. Typically, results last 1-3 years depending on skin type, sun exposure, and the area treated. Touch-up sessions are recommended to maintain consistent colour matching as your skin changes.
Our paramedical artist custom-blends pigments to match your natural skin tone precisely. Multiple pigment layers may be used to achieve the right depth and undertone. A patch test is performed before treatment to ensure the colour match is perfect and the pigment reacts well with your skin type.
Topical numbing cream is applied before and during the procedure to ensure your comfort. Most clients describe the sensation as mild pressure or light scratching. Larger treatment areas may require multiple sessions, but the numbing protocol keeps each session comfortable and manageable.
The number of sessions depends on the size of the depigmented area and the contrast between the affected skin and your natural skin tone. Typically 1-3 sessions spaced 4-6 weeks apart are required. Each session builds colour gradually to achieve the most natural, seamless blend with surrounding skin.
Yes, vitiligo camouflage can be performed on all skin types and tones. Specialized pigment formulations are used for different skin depths and undertones. Our paramedical team has experience treating diverse skin types and customizes the approach for each client's unique needs and skin characteristics.
Session duration varies based on the treatment area size. Small patches may take 30-60 minutes, while larger areas can take 2-3 hours per session. Your consultation will include a detailed time estimate based on your specific needs. Multiple smaller patches can often be treated in a single session.
