Brow Shaping Step by Step
The appointment is booked as a 30-minute slot. The removal itself is quick; most of the time goes into deciding where the brow should start, peak and end.
You show us how you wear your brows and what bothers you. We check growth direction, density and any old tattoo.
We measure the start, arch and tail against your eyes and nose and mark the outline with a pencil. You approve it in the mirror.
A twisted cotton thread lifts out rows of fine hairs along the outline — fast, precise and without anything hot on the skin.
Single stray hairs inside the shape and near the tail are removed one by one with tweezers.
Long hairs that break the outline are trimmed, not plucked, so the brow keeps its density.
A calming gel takes the redness down. You leave with a note of when to come back.

Do not pluck for 2–3 weeks before the first visit; the more hair we have, the better the shape.
A photo of brows you like helps, even if we adapt it to your face.

How Long Does Brow Shaping Last?
A clean shape usually looks sharp for 2 to 4 weeks. Hair grows in cycles, so a few new hairs appear after about a week, but the outline still reads as tidy until the bulk of regrowth comes in.
Most clients book every 3–4 weeks. If you are growing your brows out, we space the visits further apart and only clean the area well outside the planned shape, so the brow can fill in.
Redness after threading normally fades within an hour. If you have an event, book shaping a day or two before rather than on the same afternoon.

Pencil and powder slide off in the summer heat, at the beach and after a workout. A well-mapped shape is the base that still looks neat when your makeup does not survive the day — many clients stop filling their brows once the outline is right.
Sun also lightens brow hair over the summer. If your brows start to look thinner by August, it is often colour, not density: a tint solves that faster than growing them out.
After Your Visit
Brow Shaping Aftercare
Freshly shaped skin has open follicles for a few hours. Keep it simple for the rest of the day.
Brow pencil and foundation can clog the follicles and cause small bumps.
Retinol, acids and scrubs near the brows sting on freshly threaded skin.
Heat and sweat irritate the skin while it is still red.
Do not touch or pick at the area; if it itches, use a clean cold compress.
A clean spoolie trains the hairs in the direction we shaped them.
Every hair you remove at home is one we cannot use to keep the shape.

Thread for the outline and tweezers for single hairs. Thread does not pull the skin the way wax can, which matters on the thin skin under the brow.
It is booked as a 30-minute slot, including mapping and the soothing finish.
