Waxing in Dubai
Professional waxing in Dubai — smooth, long-lasting hair removal for face and body. Clean results with premium products.
Smooth in One Move
What Is Waxing?
Waxing in Dubai removes hair from the root with warm wax. The wax is spread over the area, grips the hair as it sets and comes off in one quick move, taking the hair with it. On the face we use wax that grips the hair rather than the skin, which is kinder to thin, sensitive areas.
Wax is fast and clean on areas with lots of fine hair — upper lip, chin, the space between the brows. On the brow line itself we usually finish with thread or tweezers for precision.
Our studio specialises in brows and lips, so waxing here is about the face. If you are choosing a method for your brows, read the comparison with threading below; if you want a new brow shape, book eyebrow shaping.
Wax takes even very fine, light hairs that thread can miss, and it clears a whole area in seconds. The trade-off is that it also lifts a thin layer of dead skin, which is why we always ask about retinoids, peels and recent sun before we start.

Your Appointment
Waxing Step by Step
We ask about retinoids, peels and sensitivity — this decides whether wax is safe today.
The area is cleaned and dried so the wax grips the hair, not oil.
Wax is tested on the wrist first; it should feel warm, never hot.
A thin layer goes on in the direction of hair growth.
Skin is held taut and the wax is taken off in one quick move against the growth.
Any remaining wax is removed and a calming lotion applied.
Before You Come
How to Prepare for Waxing
Too-short hair slips out of the wax.
And tell us if you use isotretinoin.
Tanned or burnt skin is more sensitive to wax.
Come without heavy cream or makeup on the area.

How Long Does Waxing Last?
Waxing usually keeps the face smooth for 3 to 4 weeks. Hairs grow in cycles, so a few appear earlier, but most of the regrowth comes back after a couple of weeks.
For the next session hair should be about 2 weeks long — long enough for wax to grip. Shaving or plucking between visits makes the next wax less effective.
Redness usually settles within a few hours. Book waxing a day before an event, not the same afternoon.
Regrowth after waxing usually feels softer than after shaving, because the hair grows back with a natural tapered tip instead of a blunt cut. Keep to a regular rhythm: if you wax every 3–4 weeks, most hairs are at the right length at the same time and each session is quicker and more comfortable.
Waxing in Dubai
Waxing and the Dubai Sun
Wax lifts the very top layer of dead skin along with the hair, so freshly waxed skin is more sensitive to sun. In Dubai that matters: avoid the beach and direct sun for 24 hours and use SPF on the area afterwards.
If you have darker skin or tend to get marks after hair removal, tell us. Gentler technique, threading for small areas and strict sun protection after help avoid post-inflammatory darkening.
After Your Visit
Waxing Aftercare
Freshly waxed follicles clog easily.
Heat on fresh skin can cause redness and spots.
No retinol, acids or scrubs on the waxed area.
Clean hands only; open follicles pick up bacteria.
From day three, light exfoliation helps prevent ingrown hairs.
No shaving or plucking between appointments.

When We Do Not Wax
Wax can take off a layer of skin. We choose threading or postpone.
We wait until it has healed.
Not over the affected area.
We avoid them.
Tell us — skin heals more slowly and we may choose a gentler method.

- Lasts about 3–4 weeks
Precise and gentle.
- Follows a single-hair line
- No heat, nothing sticks to skin
- Better for brow outlines

Not sure? We often combine them: wax between the brows, thread on the outline. See threading and eyebrow shaping.

There is a quick sting as the wax comes off. Holding the skin taut and regular sessions make it easier.
About 3–4 weeks on the face.
About 2 weeks of growth, so the wax can grip it.
Not on areas where you apply it — wax can lift the skin. Threading is the safer choice; tell us what you use.
Threading for the outline, wax for dense fine hair between the brows. We often combine them.
Wait about 12 hours on the waxed area to avoid clogged follicles.
Small red bumps in the first day are open follicles reacting; keep the area clean, skip makeup and heat. If they turn into ingrown hairs, gentle exfoliation from day three helps. Tell us at your next visit so we adjust the method.
